Hilton Garden Inn, Baani Square, Gurgaon is strategically located near the prime corporate, commercial and residential districts in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR. The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from DLF Cyber City – the central business hub. Shopping malls on M.G. Road and food and entertainment hub of Sector-29 is also just 5-7 min away. This is an ultra modern hotel with all the amenities and facilities that are required for a comfortable stay and overall travel of the guests. The ‘Glasshouse’ serves as an all day dining place for the in house as well as outside guests of the hotel. They have a very nice pattiserie ‘Café o’ Lait and a well stocked up Bar ‘Pose’ at Lobby level.
Adding another feather to the cap, they have recently come up with a beautiful Rooftop offering, named ‘VIBE’ – The Skybar . It’s the place to be. The most beautiful views of Gurgaon city from the rooftop on 10th floor of Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon, VIBE – The Sky Bar……is phenomenal. Beautifully done up place with use of mood (ambiante) lighting. The bar is all made of glass doors which can be well seen glittering, from the tables outside. One more highlight is the Pool side location here itself on 10th floor which is also a part of this beautiful package.
I was invited by the hotel today to experience VIBE. They are also doing Live gigs like standup comedy, Rock Bands and Sufi Nights throughout the week.
The Beverage Expert also the F&B manager of this property Mr. Soumitra Lodh got us several of his creations which were really mind boggling. The first creation was a gastronomical wonder named as Bubblegum Cocktail. Quiet good to taste and well presented. Second was the Achari Mojito, yes Mojito infused with Mango pickle again a winner for our Indian pallete. Then came the Laughing Zombie which had some refreshing pineapple foam atop of it mixed with several other ingredients. One of the best ones was the Angoori Tink which had many things in it like angosutra bitters, basil, lemon, vermouth, white wine and a test tube also filled with mint and lime cooler. This was really good.
They have a real good cocktails menu with several innovations and creations of their own. Like they will also be doing the barrel aged cocktails for which they are expecting the barrels to arrive in a few days. I am looking forward to it eagerly.
The food here is just a page in the menu with 7-8 starters including veg and non veg. I liked the Blue cheese malai tikka (chicken) and the Crispy baby potatoes a lot. Other starters are nice but can be improvised more and yes the quantity is not too much .It’s just 4 -5small pieces per portions other than the potatoes which were more. The new Exec. Chef informed us that the food is being taken seriously and more things will be put up on the Menu soon.
I must admit, this place is going to be a new destination in town. It’s a recommended visit for all, if for nothing else then go there only for views of the city over a drink or two. Wear some good warm clothes as it’s going to be a little colder on the terrace. But, I am sure this place is going to be a game changer albeit they maintain their standards both in service and F & B, which I am sure they will.
You will seriously enjoy and love this place.
