The very best all day dining restaurant at the very best hotel in Jaipur, SIROCCO at Crowne Plaza Japiur, Tonk Road highlights the best of both the worlds. The interiors are quite spacious and vibrant with use of reds and browns. As you enter the restaurant you are welcomed with a large Italian counter whereabig wood fired a brick oven is placed and all the groceries and ingredients used in Italian cooking are showcased over the counters making it look rustic and close to the heart.
The Buffet counters are displayed well with fresh salads, desserts and hot stations. The Live kitchen serves freshly made produce to the guests.
I had one of the best Rajasthani meals at this place made by the Maharaj, Ram Prasad Ex. Chokhi Dhani Chef.
The choorma in two flavors (plain and rose)and the the best Ker Sangri ki Subzi also the Laal maas and the Baati. Also the Mawa Mishri was made in a real authentic way.
We also had some real good Italian as well as Continental Dishes at Sirocco made under the expert supervision of the Executive Chef Vikash Prasad who is a real passionate guy. The Chocolate Trio desert and the Panacotta which is also a signature dessert were really to die for. The breakfast buffet is a vast spread of Indian, Conti. and Live egg stations .
The inroom dining is also run from this very kitchen, and I must admit we had some real good stuff to eat in our rooms. Wonderfully done sandwiches, green curry (Thai) spicy prawns and chicken tikkas were served hot in our room.
You can also sit out for hours in the Al Fresco dining area of the restaurant. The staff is ever smiling and too passionate for their work. Even if the restaurant is full, the service staff is polite and on their toes to make the guest happy.I truly appreciate their patience and perseverance.
